Which projects are important to you?

Washington County’s Urban Road Maintenance District Advisory Committee (URMDAC) is seeking comments on proposed Pedestrian and Biking Improvement Projects for funding in FY 2022-23 and FY 2023-24.

Washington County is allocating $6.5 million total to build sidewalks, pedestrian crossings and bicycle facilities. Committee members need your help to trim the “150% Candidate List” - a list of proposed projects totaling about $9.95 million - by about $3.45 million, or about one-third of the list - to fit within the $6.5 million funding allocation.

Please visit the open house "Tables" below. The Completed Pedestrian and Biking Projects Table will provide you with information about URMD and prior Pedestrian and Biking Improvement Projects.

There are two Proposed Project Tables divided by ZIP code: Table 2 is ZIP codes 97003, 97006, 97223 and 97224. Table 3 is 97007, 97225 and 97229. Each proposed project includes a brief description and a map. After checking out the projects, visit the Comment Here Table to comment on as many projects as you wish. URMDAC members will use comments received to help create a final list of projects to recommend to the Washington County Board of Commissioners for adoption.

The comment period ends at 5 p.m. Friday, July 2. Thank you for your participation!
